What is Basic Bitch Boogie? 

Basic Bitch Boogie is a trauma-aware workout and movement experience designed for women and female-identifying people. It’s your body, your choice, and this space is yours to move in ways that feel right for you.

Each week you’ll receive two 3–5 minute follow-alongs to the same song, one seated, one standing, so you can choose what your body needs that day. Expect stretching, strengthening, mobility exercises, and full-body flow that supports release and reconnection.

​

The best part? You can do it all from home, in your own space, on your own terms. No audience, no pressure; it’s your body, your choice. Here, you get to decide how you show up and what movement feels good today.

Why I Created
Basic Bitch Boogie

I created Basic Bitch Boogie because I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from your body. Living with PCOS, endometriosis, and chronic pain, I spent years in spaces where movement felt like performance or punishment. Neither left me feeling whole.

​

What I needed was a space where movement could be medicine, a way to release, explore, and reconnect with myself without fear of judgment.

​

That’s why BBB exists. It’s built for women and female-identifying people who are carrying trauma, chronic pain, or simply the weight of everyday life. It’s here to remind you that movement can be more than exercise;

it can be empowerment, healing, and joy.

​

When I sat down to design these sessions, I wanted them to be short, intentional, and accessible. Something you could actually stick with. Something that felt like a gift to your body, not a demand.

​

Because your body deserves more than rules and restrictions. It deserves freedom, joy, and choice.

Why We’re Starting Seated (and Standing)

We start seated because every body deserves an entry point that feels safe, supportive, and accessible. For those navigating trauma, chronic pain, or fatigue, seated movement offers grounding, nervous system regulation, and a chance to reconnect without overwhelm.

​

But seated isn’t just an “easier” option, it’s a powerful workout in its own right.

By moving from a grounded position, you isolate muscles in new ways, strengthen with intention, and discover a burn you didn’t expect.

​

And if your body’s craving more?

 

Every track also has a standing version, giving you the choice to flow, sweat, and release in whatever way feels best that day.

​

Some days you’ll want grounding. Other days, fire. Either way, you get to choose.

Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories — it lives in our bodies.

 

The hips, the sternum, the back, the jaw… these are places where stress, grief, and past experiences get stored and held. That’s why Basic Bitch Boogie is intentionally designed as a trauma-informed practice.

​

Every session is built with choice, safety, and compassion at the core:

  • You decide how to show up: seated or standing, small or expansive, fast or slow.

  • Movements are adaptable, repeatable, and flexible: so your body can release safely rather than be pushed past its limits.

  • Sessions are short on purpose: these 3–5 minute nuggets give you space to notice what’s coming up, to feel the emotions that surface, and to care for yourself afterwards.

​

Being trauma-informed means we don’t rush. We don’t force. We create space for your nervous system to regulate, for your body to release tension, and for you to process what comes up.

​

This isn’t just a workout. It’s a way of meeting your body where it is and giving it the chance to heal, strengthen, and reclaim, one move at a time.
